The footage appeared to show fans brawling and throwing various items, including bottles and furniture. The incidents occurred ahead of what was anticipated to be a heated match.
Social media showed bins being thrown amidst kicks and punches between two groups of Argentina fans. The exact cause of the incident remains unclear. Local police intervened to separate the groups, which subsequently dispersed. It is not known if any arrests were made in connection with these altercations.
